About Us
Cuisine NOW has been a long-held dream of Tony Bilson's and to realise it he has assembled a team of people who understand his vision and have each added value to the co-ordination of this inaugural festival of contemporary cuisine.
In terms of the co-ordination in front and behind the scenes, Tony has called on trusted professionals with diverse skills and knowledge:Operationally, Paul Signorelli, Anna Cesarano, James Viles and the team at Doltone House have embraced Tony with their enthusiasm and understanding. They have been a delight to work with and provide Cuisine NOW not only with their passion for gastronomy but with an exquisite new venue containing world-class facilities.
Cuisine NOW's General Manager, Justine Cullen, already works closely with Tony and his team at Bilson's Restaurant and Number One Wine Bar in a marketing and promotions role. Rea Francis of RF Media is Tony's publicist. She has represented Tony and his restaurants for many years and truly understands the role he plays in the evolution of gastronomy in Australia.
Creative images and concepts are important tools and Tony has called on his long-term friend and advertising expert, Richard Osborn of Osborn & Partners, to co-ordinate the message for Cuisine NOW. Janine Bavin of Bavin & Associates, has extensive experience in the corporate arena and is responsible for our relationships with partners and sponsors.
Once you have a message you need to share it and the team at Tribalise has worked incredibly hard to communicate the Cuisine NOW message throughout the social media network. Their vision for Cuisine NOW matches that of Tony's and their input has provided Cuisine NOW with the platform from which the ideas can only grow and improve.
Camilla Rountree is the Creative Director who has matched the artistic skills of the chefs and their gastronomy with music and performance in such a way that they complement each other perfectly, creating a stimulating experience for the audience unmatched by any other festival in Sydney. Mark James is the powerhouse technical director who will ensure all Cuisine NOW events run seamlessly and are captured for audiences and cuisine lovers.
The man who keeps the team grounded is John Bush who provides legal advice and who will assist in driving Cuisine NOW into the future.
Underlying the team is Amanda Bilson whose attention to detail, organisation and passion for her husband's vision has guaranteed that Cuisine NOW will achieve the high standards anticipated of a festival involving such an extraordinary calibre of chefs.
