Chefs in the City at Doltone House

Celebrate the muse by enjoying a 5-course lunch prepared by each chef to showcase their signature style and passion for the craft. An impassioned dialogue with celebrated food writer Simon Thomsen will give each chef the opportunity to share career highs and lows, key influences and inspirations. Like fine cuisine and wine, each chef’s creations will be elevated by live performances from diverse artists  This is a must for gastrophiles, culinary amateurs and patrons of the savoury arts.

Masterclasses at Doltone House

Protegés and apprentices be aware. This is a unique opportunity to share a true gourmand experience with each of our culinary heroes and get a taste of the creative process. Each Chef will host a 2-hour Masterclass where three signature dishes will be crafted and showcased in a stage kitchen. Witness their prowess live, receive extraordinary recipes, ask questions and take copious notes. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn from a master, ask questions and share the artistic vision - all from the comfort of the Park View Room, Doltone House.

Gala Dinner at Doltone House

Our Gala Dinner promises to be the unmissable Magnum Opus of Cuisine NOW, the perfect milieu to mingle with connoisseurs, amateurs and patrons of the fine art of cuisine. Each of our renowned guest chefs will prepare one course for a magnificent 7-course degustation dinner, with the dishes reflecting the different styles and regions of each chef. A selection of matching wines – some specially imported from France for the occasion - will be served to enhance the gastronomic feast.

In the spirit of Cuisine NOW, an extravaganza of live performances will punctuate the presentation of this sumptuous opera of flavours and aromas. We will unveil the much-anticipated  line up of performers closer to the Gala Dinner. 

The night will be a jubilant feast of artistic expression, both on the stage and on the plate. Chefs in the Dining Room brings you three of Cuisine NOW’s international guest artists as chefs in the celebrated restaurants of  two of Sydney’s 5-star hotels. Each chef will showcase their unique individual brilliance using the highest quality produce available in Sydney to design degustation menus for lunch and dinner.
