Nicolas Le Bec - the Sensual Culinary Artisan

Nicolas Le Bec has a natural fascination with his chosen art form and the business world. Le Bec is a notorious early starter. Nicolas enrolled in the Brunoy Hotel School at the age of 13 and proved to be a prodigious addition to France's gastronomic domain right from the beginning. In 2003 at the age of 30, Nicolas Le Bec gained his first Michelin star for Restaurant Les Loges, just two months after opening – a true heroic feat. In 2004 he received one star for Restaurant Nicolas Le Bec and in 2007 he received 2 Michelin stars for his eponymous restaurant.

Le Bec's sensual approach to cuisine has set him apart as a creative mind He seeks to be 'turned on' by the dishes, presenting dynamic end-to-end culinary experiences that have infamously overshadowed other competing projects. His weapon of choice is a self proclaimed 'magic' wooden spoon, which he wields masterfully in his kitchen sanctuary.

Le Bec will be showcased at Cuisine NOW as the perfect example of the 'entrepreneurial artist', craftily combining his art with the commercialized aspects of the gastronomic world.
